Working in cement—a slow regular pattern of mixing, applying, and evaluating, Clay--immediate, direct, intuitive. Paper mache-- incorporating images and color from my walks around the neighborhood to my work. Mixing materials to create new constructs and grouping individual pieces into installations. I am viscerally involved with the hands-on application of my materials. My art is tactile as well as visual.
