Sharon Rubinstein has been drawing and painting since she could hold a pencil. (Photography is a newer interest.) She specializes in portraiture, and has studied with eminent artists including Daniel Greene and Robert Liberace. She completed a series of portraits for the Jefferson Valley Mall in 2019 that hung there for two years, and is now part of a rotating exhibit. She had a one-woman show of more than fifty works at Gallery 333 in Annapolis, Maryland in the fall of 2019, and more recently has shown at the Garrison Art Center, Who's Cooking? in Croton Falls, the Field Library's Gallery, the Arts Council of Rockland, and in a portrait show with the Tompkins Corners Cultural Center.
