Thom Pernice
Graduated from the Scarsdale school system, Thom then attended The School of the Boston Museum of Fine Art where he majored in photo lithography. He then studied with Knox Martin at the Scarsdale Studio Workshop and Buckminster Fuller at the New School. After a successful early stent as a working rock musician 60s-70s Thom then perused a career in video production with serious involvement in the underground video movement of the late 60s and early 70s with groups like Radical Software and WNET Experimental Workshop.
Although the bulk of his work was in the commercial arena, he worked in video broadcast, documentary, journalistic, and creative production forms and is a multi award winning producer. Serving major corporate clients ( BIC, PEPSI, BF GOODRICH, SEALED AIR, SAVE THE CHILDREN, NORTH AMERICAN,ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, TIMEX and many more ). Worked several years in advertising and news for WTNH and News 12, and covered the entire Woodstock 94 festival on video, He also worked as staff photographer for PATCH, and produced the Peekskill Jazz and Blues Festival.
After 35 years in video production he is now retired and still experimenting in photo art forms, music and audio production. Also selling vintage guitars.
