Working in cement—a slow regular pattern of mixing, applying, and evaluating, Clay--immediate, direct, intuitive. Paper mache cannibalizing my older work and incorporating images and color new to my work. Mixing materials to create new constructs and grouping individual pieces into installations. I am viscerally involved with the hands-on application of my materials. My art is tactile as well as visual.

Gravitating towards brilliant, contrasting colors and definitive then disappearing lines, my art practice allows great freedom from the chaos of social chatter, in order to find a joyful space where mind, matter, and the senses meet for thoughtful visual conversations and searching for balance and joy within an often chaotic, painful, and surprising world.
