Amy works in many different mediums and is always experimenting. Regarding two-dimensional images, Amy works in water-based and mixed media on paper, usually landscapes or nature scenes. She uses words as the foundation of every piece. Amy also creates crocheted items. She uses traditional fine yarns such as alpaca, cotton, silk, and wool and non-traditional fibers such as leather, cord, and jute. She has also been known to spin and/or create her yarns to crochet. She makes clothing, accessories, and blankets – or wherever inspiration takes her. .
