Beth DeWit

Beth DeWit is an artist of diverse experience and is primarily self-taught, acquiring much of her skills while working as a Decorative Painter for 24 years. She has made her living in arts-related fields for most of her adult life including Decorative Painting and Murals, Illustration, Photography, Computer Graphics, Jewelry, and Sign Design.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from the University of Iowa. Beth is also a Vinyasa Yoga Instructor.

Her Decorative Painting exists in both residential and commercial locations
around the Northeast and Northwestern United States. She exhibited at ArtsWestchester Gallery in White Plains, NY in 2012. Her Photography has been
exhibited in the Northern Westchester Photography Exhibit and the Peekskill Open
Studios Exhibit in Westchester County, NY. Her jewelry has been shown at
Rutheny’s Gallery in Croton-On-Hudson, NY and the Flatiron Gallery in Peekskill,
NY. She was a founding member of the Hudson Crafts Collective.
