Opening Their Studio
Back To Artist Listing
My interest in landscape found expression in painting after graduating from UC Berkeley in Geography (1979), and I went on to earn an MFA in 1993. Several artist residencies have been key to my development as a painter, including Caldera in Central Oregon, and the Saltonstall Foundation near Ithaca, and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation in NYC. I have exhibited in NYC and elsewhere on the East and West Coasts, and received grants from the Alexander Rutsch Foundation (2005), the Pollock Krasner Foundation (2008) and the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Foundation (2015). I have lived and worked in Peekskill since 2014.
