Please I live in Peekskill with my dog, and two cats. Previously I lived in Croton on Hudson for about 30 years, with my late husband Gary and our daughters. Before that we lived in the Bronx for 12 years. Before that I lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Yonkers (where I grew up). I was born in Harlem. I attended the Art Students’ League, New York Institute of Technology, and (much later) Westchester Community College.

I am a Social Justice and Environmental Activist, focused largely on Black Lives Matter, Nuclear and Fossil Fuel issues, Anti War, Affordable Housing, Universal Healthcare, Public Education. All of these issues are interconnected.

For 15 years I was a founding partner with Barbara Hunt, of Riverdrifters Fine Art Works, operating out of Croton Point Park. I make Art out of many different materials depending on what message I am trying to convey. Paintings, sculpture (using driftwood, furniture parts, stones, ceramic, fabric, paper, cardboard, or anything else that works), Poetry (stand alone or in booklets, often accompanying other artwork), Musical performance (simple, used only when that is what’s truly called for), and any combination of the above. Much of my inspiration comes from my activism.
