Karen B Allen

I am originally from rural upstate NY. My BFA is in painting from Syracuse University. The need for creativity resides in all of us and a creative community heals and helps us to be our best selves. It is a privilege to meet the public during the Open Studios event here in Peekskill. In my painting I am looking for one thing. It is the sense of fascination that I had when very young. It is a feeling of oneness and connectedness. The feeling of making and sharing art brings us together. Something we all need right now.
