I’ve work in many different mediums as well as directions. I have been a commercial artist, art therapist, art teacher and fine artist. My work is influences by female beauty. I strive to capture the soft feminine curves in my paintings and soft to the touch sculptures. My fluid flowing sensual paintings have a timeless motion and spirit. The work is heavily influenced by textures. I enjoy art that you can feel and touch. Most of my work is in acrylic with heavy gel medium, but I also do watercolors, pastel, oil pastel, ceramics, sculpture and more. My sculptures are silicone, plaster and metal. Bright colors and transparent objects are some of sculpture themes. My favorite shows have been live shows such building a sculpture on beach in Haverstraw or painting in front of a crowd.

I received a BFA from Pratt Institute, MA and MFA in process from New York Institute of technology. I started out as a fine artist out of high school. My first show was for Oak Park Guild in Oak Park, IL. Afterwards, I started as career as a commercial artist creating art through illustration, graphic design, art director and even video. I worked as a commercial artist for seventeen years. My career as commercial artist slowed to raise children. After raising my children for a short time, I began moving back to fine arts. I started a job at Four Winds Hospital in an Art Therapy department. Working with all ages of people from many different walks of life. I helped build a therapeutic language using art. I have worked with all ages as well a large variety of medium teaching art. I currently work as Director of Engaged Life at Atria on the Hudson. My Business Irving Design partners with Yay Makers for paint, plant, resin and more party themes nights. I also have a clothing line with VIDA co… I am an owner of a Peekskill Art Loft. I’ve show my work at throughout the tri-state area.

I was born and raised in Elmhurst, IL. At the age of twenty, I move to NYC and made New York my home ever since then. I currently live in Peekskill. Prior to Peekskill, I lived in Dobbs Ferry, NYC, and Brooklyn, New York.
