Virtual Holiday Boutique December 1-31

This year is unlike others we have known so we are planning a virtual holiday show and sale for our annual holiday event. As in the past, the show will include handmade items that work best for gift giving, such as jewelry, wearable art, pottery, prints, cards, etc. Items priced $100 and under generally sell best. The recommended upper limit is $300.
The PAA Virtual Holiday Boutique, will connect you, other artists and customers using chat, email, phone, and Zoom. Here’s how it works:
Before the event  you’ll set up your online booth / store.

  1. Provide images of your work (items), and a little info about each one and indicate which images to use on the website landing page,
  2. Provide info about you, so visitors can get to know you. For example, an artist statement, take-away business cards, links to your other online sites and videos, etc.
  3. Set up the ways you want visitors to get in touch with you during the event, and post dates/times when visitors could talk with you on Zoom.
  4. Please also provide an image for promotional purposes—a picture of you making your art or the range of your work or your studio. It can also be an image from your gallery of images of the pieces you are offering for sale. Send the image to Jo-Ann Brody at joannbrody@me.com and make the subject “PAA Holiday Boutique”.
  5. Sign up will include a modest $10 participation fee to assist with promotional expenses.
During the event visitors will contact you using the channels you’ve provided: chat, email, phone, Zoom, and if appropriate, in-person meetings for pick up. You will not need to be online at all hours the Boutique is open, except for your scheduled Zoom sessions. You will need to check emails and chats at regular intervals. You’ll also get detailed, item-by-item logs of how visitors navigated your booth to help you understand what’s hot and what’s not!

You will work independently and can set up payment options for your booth as you prefer. We’ll provide promotional materials that you can share with current customers, friends, family, and others – and they can share them, too! We will also do promotions in local publications and on social media. The success of the event depends on getting the word out far and wide! Artists & Crafters Responsibilities:
Participation in the virtual show requires that your PAA membership be up to date. If you are a new member (or renewing) our basic annual membership fee is $25.
